On Friday, April 9th, at 7:00PM, First Light is teaming up with Austin's Field Guide Festival to welcome a panel of local chefs and farmers to discuss their work and the books that have inspired them. Field Guide Fest is a food festival that connects attendees with their local food systems, making the community of creating and sharing food that can often be hidden more visible.
Chefs Chelsea Fadda (Pecan Square Cafe) and Fiore Tedesco (l’Oca d’Oro) and Farmshare Austin's Casey Frank will be joined by Trisha Bates, founder of Urban American Farmer.
Tickets for this event include a $15 gift card and a drink token for our cafe and bar, as well as a reserved seat at the event. We'll have a selection of books for sale chosen by the panelists and by the folks at Field Guide Fest.
RSVPs are also available, and all unreserved seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
