The About Motherhood Book Club explores the personal complexities of being a mother, femininity, and domestic life. We’ll use the landmark text Of Woman Born by poet Adrienne Rich as companion text to novels, memoirs and beyond that plumb the joys, grief, indecision, curiosities, and love of motherhood. The Future Greats Book Club explores the evolving and enduring nature of “great novels” in modern times. We’ll read frontlist and recent contemporary fiction with ambitious scope and cultural zeitgeist – books that we think will be read for a long, long time. Hosted by First Light partner Taylor Bruce.
