Join us on Wednesday, June 26th, at 7PM to celebrate Kismet, a new cookbook from Sarah Hymanson and Sara Kramer, the James Beard Award nominated co-owners and chefs behind Kismet and Kismet Rotisserie in Los Angeles. Tickets include a reserved seat and a copy of the book.
Starring more than 100 recipes, Kismet captures the casual, superfresh, vegetable-forward cooking the award-winning Los Angeles restaurants are known for. Thoughtfully adapted for home cooks, recipes like Salty-Sweet Persimmon Salad and Harissa Party Wings are a tantalizing blend of casual California cool and vibrant Mediterranean-inspired flavors.
Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson co-own and co-chef the vegetable-loving Kismet and Kismet Rotisserie restaurants in Los Angeles. Along with many local and national accolades, the two were named Food & Wine Best New Chefs in 2017, were proclaimed Chefs of the Year by Eater LA, and Kismet was nominated for a James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in 2018. In addition to being sustainability-minded regarding their sourcing and operations, they focus on creating inclusive spaces that serve their teams as well as the broader community.
They will be joined in conversation by Tracy Malechek-Ezekiel, chef and co-owner of Birdie's, an award-winning restaurant in East Austin.
